Plans and features
Webspace plans compared. All plans use Plesk.
A webspace is storage space with a hosting provider on which a website is kept. Unlike a root server, you do not have to look after the operating system: the provider supplies everything, and you manage the website through the Plesk panel.
Terms
- Storage: Space for files, images, databases and mails together.
- Mail accounts: The number of mailboxes you can create.
- Traffic: The amount of data the website delivers per month, i.e. page views and downloads. See Fair use and traffic.
Plans
| Webspace S | 5 GB · 10 mail accounts · 2 TB traffic |
|---|---|
| Webspace M | 25 GB · 50 mail accounts · 5 TB traffic |
| Webspace L | 50 GB · 250 mail accounts · 9 TB traffic |
| Webspace XL | 100 GB · 500 mail accounts · 13 TB traffic |
| Webspace XXL | 250 GB · 1000 mail accounts · 22 TB traffic |
The same for all plans
- Plesk panel: Everything can be set in one web interface, see Plesk: basics.
- PHP 7.4 to 8.4: You choose the PHP version per domain. Older versions are often needed if an old CMS is running.
- Free Let's Encrypt SSL: Encryption via HTTPS at no extra cost, see SSL certificate.
- Backups included: The provider backs up the webspace. Your own backups are still worthwhile.
- One-click apps: WordPress, Joomla, Moodle and more, see Install WordPress.
Which plan?
- S: A small website or business card site with a few images.
- M: A blog or a page with more images and a few mailboxes.
- L to XXL: Many mail accounts, large media files or several websites.
Traffic is rarely the bottleneck for most websites. Storage and mail accounts are more likely to be.
