Initial setup checklist

All steps in the right order.

1. First login and change the root password
2. Set up and test an SSH key
3. Create a user with sudo and test it
4. Secure SSH: switch off password and root login
5. Install updates and enable security updates
6. Enable the firewall
7. Enable fail2ban
8. Set the hostname and time zone
9. Define and test a backup concept
