Set up a BGP session

Peering parameters, procedure and checks.

Procedure

  1. Register your own prefixes and ASN with the provider.
  2. Receive the peering IP, peer ASN and session parameters.
  3. Configure the router and establish the session.
  4. Check whether the prefixes are received and announced.
Incorrectly announced prefixes can disrupt other networks. Check the configuration before announcing.
